Days 25 & 26 King's Canyon and Sequoia
We went to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park. The first night, we went down into the canyon and saw neat rocks and waterfalls. When we got to the lodge, we all slept well. We got up the next morning and we were feeling good…especially me. My mom and I were going on a horseback ride. When we hoped on our horses, my mom and I and had an awesome time. After the horse ride, we walked on the Grant Tree trail. We drove past General Sherman, the largest living thing on earth, but we couldn’t go right up to it because we had tickets to go to Crystal Cave and we couldn’t find a parking spot. The hike to get to the cave was strenuous. It was worth it, as once again the caves blew us away with their amazing formations. On our way out we saw the Giant Sequoias. They made me feel like a tiny ant. Before we knew it, we were on to the next place.
